Portuguese Week

This past weekend we were at a Tea Plantation. We will have to share the pictures when we can make a download and it won't cost someone or ourselves $50. It was an amazing experience. It was a beautiful area. We were visiting Nyanga. We saw many monkeys and some beautiful birds and lots of tea plants.

We took a tour of a tea factory. We had  no idea how much work was involved. We look forward to sharing the hard work of the tea workers so that you all (especially you tea lovers... you know who you are) appreciate your cup of tea.

On our way home we saw this little boy in a tie and neatly dressed with a little bookbag and a friend with him not dressed up. The brother with us Les stopped and asked him where he was going. He said that he was a JW and that he was going to the meeting. They were both 12 years old. The brother studied with the other 12 year old boy. The brothers parents died when he was 2 years old and his grandmother ended up taking care of him. I believe it was a car accident. Which is very common here. But he was very cute and we took them to the Shona meeting. It is conducted in a primary school and there are 16 publishers.

So tomorrow and Sat we will be working with the Portuguese sisters and working with them in the few Portuguese studies and calls that they have. So we will see what Portuguese we remember. They are very excited  we hear. We will up date you on what happens. Then Friday we are hoping to work on the new missionary home for the day. Along with next week we will be staying with some missionaries in their home.

We have been blessed with meeting many wonderful friends and have learned alot. Along with many wonderful priviliges. We hope your all well and try to keep you updated.
