We have arrived safely. We are exhausted but here safely. We had a good flight with no issues. We were in Johannesburg Airport all night waiting for our flight this morning. The taxi drivers were shocked that this white americans were going to sleep and wait on the benches at the airport. :) We realized that it was only a few Africans all night sleeping along with cleaners and police. So they were surprised when we kept saying we were staying inside till our flight.
But we made friends by the end of our overnight stay. We were able to witness to one taxi driver in 1am for about an hour. Jake ended up placing a Teach Book with him. He said he was excited to read it since some of the subjects are things he has asked about. He said he visited other churches. We asked if he has visited the Kingdom Hall he said no. So we told him we would call him when we are back in JoBurg on our way home and either have him come with us to a meeting or give him the meeting times. So he gave us his business card. So our long layover ended up eventful.
A couple from one of the halls picked us up and made us feel right at home. We went to the grocery store. Which was interesting. It is going to be interesting learning so much. They call traffic lights Robots. One of many things we learned already in one day. Along with so much more we have to learn.
Hopefully we will get pictures up I promise not to bore you with paragraphs of words. Its about 77is and sunny and beautiful. Sorry guys I wish I could send it home to you.
